LanSchool joins the Cloud Security Alliance STAR Registry

Lenovo is dedicated to delivering highly secure, cloud-based services to education providers worldwide. In keeping with this commitment, we are excited to announce LanSchool, Lenovo’s classroom management software, has been added to the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Security, Trust, Assurance, and Risk (STAR) Registry.

LanSchool joined the STAR Registry as Level One compliant after demonstrating adherence to CSA’s internationally recognized Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM). CCM is the first cybersecurity framework developed specifically for the cloud, and it is continuously updated to evolve with the security landscape.

LanSchool joins other Lenovo software solutions on the STAR registry, including Lenovo Device Intelligence, Lenovo Device Intelligence Plus, Lenovo Device Manager, Lenovo’s Cloud Developer platform, and Lenovo ThinkSmart Manager.

“Joining the CSA STAR Registry is a way to demonstrate to our customers that security is important to LanSchool and that the software is compliant with best practice principles of the industry,” said Dan Verwolf, Director of Education Software at Lenovo. “Cybersecurity is one of the most pressing concerns for our education customers, and we want them to rest assured that Lenovo is committed to strict security protocols and a policy of mutual responsibility.”
